Protonema
Sebuah band asal Indonesia yang bersinar tahun 90’an, pertama kali jatuh cinta sama band ini waktu dengerin lagu mereka yang berjudul “ Kiranya “ sering banged diputer di @101JakFM. Emang telat banged jatuh cinta nya sama band Rock satu ini. Tapi gak ada kata telat buat jatuh cinta. Hehe..
Protonema terbentuk dari 4 orang yang suka musik, mereka adalah : Doddy [Bass], Gun Gun [Keyboard], Didiet [Drum] dan Sidik[Gitar]. Protonema diambil dari istilah Biologi yang artinya `Tunas Lumut`. Diawali dari berbagai acara - acara kecil di sekolah hingga peringatan hari bersejarah Protonema mulai aktif main di panggung panggung musik lokal. Hingga akhirnya mereka menetapkan hari lahir Protonema tanggal 5 November.
Tahun 2000 Protonema kembali masuk dapur rekaman dengan album ketiga “Pilihan Pertama”. Dengan vokalis baru Ian. Karakter vokal Ian yang berbeda jauh dengan Micko membuat warna musik Protonema berubah haluan. Ternyata perubahan ini justru menjadi bumerang di tubuh band itu. Kehadiran Ian tak cukup mampu menggantikan peran sentral Micko. Hingga pada akhirnya konsumen musiklah yang menjadi penilai, album “Pilihan Pertama” jeblok di pasaran. Keadaan itu membuat Protonema vakum dan hingga kini tak ada keputusan jelas apakah band ini membubarkan diri atau tidak. Tahun 2008 ini berita duka terdengar ketika mantan vocalist mereka Micko menghembuskan nafas terakhir.
Kini pelantun tembang tersebut telah pergi untuk selama-lamanya meninggalkan kita semua. Ya, Widyatmoko Nugroho yang akrab di panggil Miko telah pergi meninggalkan kenangan bagi para penggemar musik di tanah air. Miko meninggal dunia akibat serangan jantung di rumahnya, Minggu (18/5) malam sekitar pukul 22.30 WIB,dan jenazahnya dimakamkan di TPU Cikutra Bandung, Senin siang.
Dia telah meramaikan blantika musik di tanah air bersma grup band Protonema. Bersama Doddy [Bass], Gun Gun [Keyboard], Didiet [Drum] dan Sidik [Gitar], Band ini eksis di tahun 1990an dengan lagu, misalnya Kiranya dan Rinduku Adinda.

Storyline
Door to Door was also the name of a Japanese 2009 TV movie retelling of the Bill Porter story set in Japan. Porter had been told for many years that he was not employable, but he threw all of his effort into working as a salesman for Watkins. Despite the pain of his medical condition, he would walk eight to ten miles a day to meet his customers. Porter has been able to support himself, and continued to work as a salesman at the age of 69 at the time of the film’s showing
Bill Porter is a cripple, handicapped since birth. His rather wealthy ma drives him around to indulge his ambition to become a door to door salesman. After endless refusals at sight, he is granted a test period on Watkins’s worst round, and somehow survives, probably due to his good-mannered helpfulness as much as tireless persistence, becoming a trusted household adviser for lonely people. During his ma’s senility ending in death, a Mormon couple helps Bill out, but his pride gets in the way of accepting, leading to a battle of charity. Written by KGF Vissers.
